One has a member and the other has a lady parts.

And if you do not know the difference, you will require a lot of remediation prior to starting Nursing School.

OK...being serious here. We have one male RN in or ER and he tends to be a little more serious than the rest of us. He's a clean freak and he's more careful about infection control issues than a lot of the females are. Out of all of us, he's the best under pressure and he is physically the stongest. He's also great about picking up on very subtle changes in a patient's condition. I think a lot of out older patients respect him more because they think he is a doctor. I believe with all sincereity that he is the BEST nurse in the hospital...I would trust him with my life.

I'm not saying that our female nurses are bad or anything. Many of them possess the same qualities that he does, just not to the level that he does. The only thing that he has simply because he is male is the physical strength. And no, I'm not sweet on this guy or anything, I just have a huge amout of admiration for his skills and knowledge and caring as a nurse.
