Didnt Pass Pharm :(

Published

So I didnt make it through Pharm this Term, I finished the class with a 75.2% and Passing is a 76% in my school.. I know my mistakes though, I know I didnt study hard enough, sitting down and studying has been such a struggle for me and plus Im feeling a bit burnt out from school already! but I know I have to keep going this is something I really want.. I am just so afraid because If I fail one more time in my program I am going to get kicked out.. I know that it is going to only get tougher

I guess I just need some words of encouragement!

You've made it this far. I know the world likes to make us think that there's a "time crunch" on achieving our dreams..or that one wrong move and all the blocks fall down...but it's just not true...even if you do fail and get kicked out...there's always another program...there's always another way. But odds are, if you've seen your mistakes, and you're honest about what you're willing to do to fix them...you'll be okay.

Maybe it was just an off semester, I have those from time to time. So, definitely don't stop. As the person said before, I'm sure you worked really hard in your pre-req's to get into the program & I'm sure you don't want all that hard work going down the drain for nothing.

Looking on the bright side though, when you retake the class you'll have an upper hand & possibly won't have to study as hard but of course still don't blow it off.

Best of luck to you!

OMG hang in there! This happened to me in NR226 which is the second half of Funds. I had a 75.98 and a 76 is needed to pass the class. Inspite, of the fact that my Professor quit before the last exam and other things occurred. But as they say the show MUST go on. Hang in there and you're right at least you'll have the upper hand due to your already taking the class before. Hang in there....

Keep your head up. The fact that you recognize your mistakes puts you way ahead of the game for the next term. I've had friends not pass a class and come back the second time and score the best grades in the class. You got this.
