I didn't pass my boards, and I was wondering if there was anything I could do to take the test sooner? I know on the Florida Board of Nursing it states a minimum of 45 days, but would that still apply if I were to take it again in another state, say for Georgia or Alabama as examples? I'm disappointed in myself for not passing on the first try, and I want to try again.

I think 45 days is pretty much standard for most states. I would just take this time to review your weak areas and then give it another go. The best of luck to you!!!

I would be concerned that you would receive the same results if you do not spend sufficient time preparing.

It can take you longer to register with another state and they may ask you if you have sat NCLEX before. Rushing to sit NCLEX again can lead to failure, better to prepare properly and most states require you to wait 45 days before you can resit. Some even require 90 days
