Did not pass my nclex-pn...

Published

Hi everyone.. im new to this forum thingy however i got on this last night to help ease my mind reading about nclex testing experiences. It felt good to know that I was not alone... I took my nclex pn yesterday and it cut off at 86. I had no clue what was on that test.. it was soo pointless to study cause i swear i didnt even know half the questions.. if someone can respond back and tell me about this 86 question cut off thingy.. that would be cool.. cause im soooo scared.

btw, i called this morning around 700 am eastern time and didnt hear my name so i figured i failed. Someone said to call after nine.. in which i think im gonna wait awhile on...cause i am soooo scared. any suggestions??? :uhoh3:

Thanks much for the help!! :)

Good luck to you. I'm sorry to hear that. Did you get a notice of some sort that states "NOT PASSED" or "FAILED" or are you still speculating?

Still speculating i guess..but i dont wanna believe it. i mean it makes sense cause if people in my class found out the next day that their license was released then if i passed, my name would be there, but its not.

i guess ill wait for actual results in the mail till i get a final answer. hah. itd be kinda surprising if i really did pass though!!

Have you found out your results, yet? Like many people said, you may have passed. I wish you luck.

If not, then I would continue to use the saunders CD. I would do a 100 question quiz, write down every area that you weren't secure in, and then do a 10 point quiz on every area twice. It sounds like a lot, but you can get in good review with little time. Sometimes, going through EACH chapter that you don't feel confident in can be a little overwhelming and just create unnecessary anxiety (at least, for me).

I started to freak out because I thought that I would have a month to study for the test. I started to get LPN offers and became so financially broke that I was working 40+ hours a week. I needed to schedule my exam soon, because school was starting up and many of the jobs wouldn't be open for another month. Because I had limited time to study, I needed to create an intense plan. Let me know if this helps, or if you have any more questions. Good luck!
