Did I Pass??? PVT

I haven't heard it not to be true yet. I took mine yeaterday and also got the good pop up and I'm celebrating as a RN, BSN :nurse:

I cant celebrate until i have the official result. I hope I passed it!

The thing is I took mine here in California and they dont participate in quick result. I dont know how many days or week im gonna wait.

Hopefully they are faster with your results then mine, im in CA and I got the good pop up 10 days ago and still no name on the BON

what i heard is, you have to wait for 1-2 weeks before the official report. I hope we both passed it, because most of the post here that who had a GOOD POP UP passed the exam. So we must keep on praying :)

BTW. Do you know someone who also took nclex here in California who had a good pop up, waited for 1-2 weeks and passed the exam? If does, no doubt we passed it :)

I don't know of anyone else here in CA, but im glad you told me that, it eases my mind a bit. My fingers are crossed but I know we both passed:)

3 of my classmates here in CA took NCLEX RN on Monday June 6th and on the 9th, their names were on CA BON. Congrats!!! :nurse: :nurse: :nurse:

I used Kaplan Course to prepare for my NCLEX. I would say, MOST of the topics you need to study are already in Kaplan Course ( they will provide you a study plan which is very use full ). It would be better if you enroll for their LIVE classes. They will teach you how to answer questions (Decision Tree), even though you dont know the topic, it gives you a high percentage to pick the right answer which help me a lot. Also Kaplan Questions, i would say it is 90% close to what really NCLEX questions are ( TRUST ME ) :) .

My Questions were more on Prioritization, Delegation and Infection control. I used Prioritization, delegation and Assignment by LaCharity for these type of questions. I didn't focus on the last part of the book which is more on Case Study. Because it is not what NCLEX questions are being asked, but somehow it might help for additional info. Give focus on the first part of the book and i recommend you to list activities that can be delegated to LVN and NA.

I had also Pharmacology questions. Regarding this one, again , I used Kaplan. The good thing about the Kaplan book latest edition, medications are already classified and sorted for you to easily study and memorize them. Be familiar with suffixes and prefixes of the same meds ( one of the techniques tfor easy memorization ). I learned all of it from Kaplan Course.

Before I attended Kaplan course, I was using Saunders. The book is very useful if you wanna feed your content knowledge. But in terms of questions from Saunders, I would say most of it are easy questions. So its better to practice question from Kaplan question or Lacharity.

Just answer questions every day. Practice Practice. And don't forget to Pray :)

hi1! Congrats to your classmates :) when did they know that their names were already at the CA BON? did they also use PVT? thanks!! because I tried PVT and had the good pop up, but the thing is CA doesnt participate in Quick result. :)
