Did anyone take the test on Feb 14, in Ca?

if so, did any of you get your results? I took my NCLEX-rn test on the 14th and still no name on the web.. I stopped at 75 questions. PLEASE HELP. any advice?

Hello everyone. I took the test on 2/01/08 and up to now, I still haven't heard back from BON. I'm still hoping that I passed the board.

Oh and by the way, I'm a foreign grad with a SSN. So I'm thinking it shouldn't take this long to get the results if I passed since they issued my ATT. :o

Doesn't matter, Ca are well known to take a while to give results even if some do get their results sooner. I know it doesn't seem right but try not to think about it until you get results or see your name on site.

I took the nclex -LVN on last yr at the beg i\of FEB it took 3 weeks and 5days for me to get results. Not sure if the RN is any different in respect to the time you have to wait, one good thing is that once they deem that you passed you can look on the BON and see if your name is there. With LVN your name will not show up on the bvnpt till they get your check for your license along with the paper they send with your results.GOOD LUCK TO ALL YOU THAT ARE WAITING !!!!!!

oh wow, so i am not the only one. where did you take yours? i took mine in oakland,ca. i've spoken to the brn many many times, they are no help what so ever. they keep telling me different things. they said that they are very busy due to large number of students taking the exam at this time. i was also told that when they process the tests they go by last name, which puts me almost towards the end of the list. i don't think that makes sense. i will surely email you and let you know if i get a big yellow envelope or a small white envelope. i really hope i get the small one even though by now im so convinced that i failed. let me know when you hear anything as well. good luck to both of us.

hello, i took mine in nevada..but am i understanding you correctly? you said you took yours 01/29 as well? i'm just wondering why it takes so long...and you know most of the people on this forum that passed and took their exam in ca claimed that they saw their names like 3-4 days after taking the exam..so yes i'm quite worried..i really do think i failed cause why is it taking so long to get my results???! and why isn't my name up there just like the other peope who took the test and passed? i'm really loosing hope and i have doubts that i passed now...i just dont know..i knew i should've studied harder..i feel sick thinking about it..and my parents just keep saying don't loose hope i think you passed..keep praying to god..i will pray for both of us and i beleive that god shows mercy and kindness to those who are really determined to succeed. if you'd like to email me or get in touch feel free to send an email at this address.

hey..i'm very sorry to hear that..but please don't be sad ok? =( the way i see things you are almost there! you failed one area..just look at the bright side of things. it's easy to say rather than do..i know. now that i know you got your results..i know that i will get mine tomorrow or at any given moment since we both took the test 01/29..i am thinking that i failed as well...but i will let you know once i get the results ok? pls cheer up..and don't be sad..:o

thanks, you are right, i am almost there, i just need to study more and take breaks in between, which i didn't do as much before. i am going to take it easy. its done with, and there is nothing i can do. i will pass this stupid exam. i can let this exam beat me, no way. good luck to you. you should get your results soon. hopefully you get a small envelope.

To clear up some misconceptions that many of you seem to be having, I am going to repeat some information here for you:

Average wait time is ten full days, we have seen some see their names posted in just three days or so, but that is not the norm for all. Again the average wait time is ten days.

Please be aware that if you graduated from school in CA, they will permit you to sit for the exam before they have a completed file on you as long as your name is on roster submitted by your school in advance. If your file is not complete when they review it, they are not going to issue you a license. It can be that your transcripts have not shown up yet, or there was an issue with fingerprints, etc. It can be for whatever reason, but they will no Quick Results available from them.

We ask that you wait a full 14 days before phoning if you do not see your name and have not received a letter from them, and you have a SSN# that was submitted to them.

Look at this the other way, the more phone calles that are placed, then the slower it is going to be to get your license issued. They cannot do anything over the phone, and they cannot give you your results over the phone. I understand that you are anxious, but you need to give them time to complete their processing of licenses. And if they told you that they have a large number that have tested recently, please respect that, or you will be delaying everyone. When they have to answer more calls, then it takes away from something.

Again, this is not the norm for most. Glad to hear that you got your results, but this does not help others that are waiting.

Sorry I replied so late but I've been having some internet problems lately. Anyways I got my results in the mail a day after you got yours. I failed as well. I'm not losing hope ksas and neither should you. I sent in my re-registration payment for the exam right away so hopefully I can take the exam as soon as possible while everything is fresh. I'll keep you posted when i'm retaking and if I pass this time.
