I took the Hesi and got a 890. Did anyone else here take the hesi? If so what was your score and then, did you pass the NCLEX? thanks!

So I guess the hesi review guide is a good way to study? Is the hesi and Nclex similar?

I've read and heard from other schoolmates that they are not.....I don't know what to expect either or how to prepare. I have 4 weeks to figure it out :uhoh3:

My school made us take the HESI before graduation and I scored a 975. I didn't study for the HESI, but we did have to do a review from the Saunder's CD once a week so I'm sure that helped. I passed the NCLEX with 75 questions. Classmates that scored much lower (some even under 850) also passed the NCLEX on the first try. I didn't really think the Hesi and NCLEX were all that similar. Too bad the NCLEX doesn't show your score on the screen as soon as you finish like the Hesi does! Good luck to all of you taking the Hesi and NCLEX!

Hi twilight

I take mine next month. We have 3 tries at it or else.....:nono: degree :uhoh3:

I have been doing Saunder's questions. I have the HESI study guide and have done the CD but find the rationales very vague and plain weird. What score must you get to be passing @ your school? Ours wants a 900. I do awesome on Saunder's though-so go figure.

I have been praying each and every day plus doing about 100 practice questions a day. I will let you know if it worked or not since you take your exam later than me ;)

Also, if you dont' have the review guide.....I can mail you mine once I get this thing over!

Good luck

Hi!

I have the hesi guide/cd and the saunders review book. Thank you though! I am having problems with the hesi cd. My scores on the hesi cd are horrible! The saunders review book is not that bad, but i do miss some questions.

At our school we are required to score a 900 or above. If you don't pass the the first try, you have one more chance before graduation and another after graduation.

When do you take your Hesi exam? Good luck with your studying!!! I am cheering you on.

:uhoh3:hi, i took the HESI and the end of the semester for LPN. we had to get atleast a 850 to graduate. i got a 886! they told us that if we got above 850 we would pass the NCLEX, WELL, i took it thursday at 330 and it shut off at 106 or something 110 maybe. im FREAKING out. i still have no results! i dont know what to do with myself, its driving me nuts. i just have this gut feeling i failed. ugh. what is taking to so long for my results! good luck everyone!

We had to take the HESI, just to see where we were, right before we graduated. I think I got a 911 or so... I took the NCLEX today, and it was NOTHING like what I remember from the HESI. I had done nothing to prepare for the HESI (I was worried about finals at the time), and I've been doing questions like crazy to prep for NCLEX... I got 90 questions (I think, I stopped looking at the number at 87), and I don't feel very good about it at all. SO... In my opinion, I don't think it's the same or even similar. Just my opinion though.

I took the HESI. We did HESI's for various subjects in school.. and the only ones I ever passed were Pharm and Fundamentals. I had to do remediation My HESI exit was HORRIBLE!! I got like a 630. Absolutely horrible. I felt so dumb, but I don't think I took it very seriously. We had so much going on.. I was looking for a new grad RN job, etc... But I ended up passing NCLEX w/75 questions! I don't think how you do on HESI is an indicator on how you do on NCLEX. I believe its the studying after graduation and practicing of questions that really counts. But then again, that is just my opinion.

I took the hesi and got a 1072 and passed the nclex with 75 questions.
