Did anyone have to take a Freshman Comp Course?

They are saying I need a Freshman Comp Course. Did anyone have to take this?
Any advice?

Yuck! So you have to do the Freshman English and the Junior English??? I had an English comp course from 20 years ago that satisfied the Freshman Comp. I also had 3 other junior English classes that did NOT satisfy the Junior Comp...so I am stuck taking that in session 3 this fall.

I don't have my DARS yet, but my "what if" DARS says that I also need a Junior Comp course. I have a BA already, so I need to find out what I have already taken that might meet the requirement. I can't honestly believe that I don't have something that fits.

I just got my DARS and I found a mistake so I would go over it with a fine tooth comb! I had two biochems and they were telling ,e I needed chemistry...uh I don't think so

I had a similar issue. They are trying to tell me I need a humanities and I said hello I have a Bachelors in Biology...do you really think I didn't take a humanities class?!!!

I have two college chemistries as well and they are saying I need to retake it! They said the chemistry I took (in college) was good enough for my ADN but not for BSN. I tried to argue....have to take it :-(

She accepted my biochem classes. I was very annoyed, but she worked quickly and fixed it. Thank goodness

What Junior Comp are you taking? I really want to get it over with.

This may be d/t them knowing that some nursing programs have "dumbed down" chemistry classes.

I saw that my DARS has been updated to semesters and now they are taking back some of the courses that they had waived before. I'm steaming mad. Adding about 4 classes to what they said I had to take before.

I emailed my advisor today. I am going to fight this one.

Hold on Mary and don't blow your stack! ;-) I also had classes added that had been waived when we did the quarter to semester switch. I spoke with my advisor who stated some classes waived did not transfer through automatically so they had to enter them by hand. I guess I was the first person under my advisor to catch this and it took them some time to figure out what happened. In the meantime, I was pretty steamed.
