Hi everyone. I just got a call this morning from ABSN program and was told that I was not eligible to apply for the summer program due to the incompletion of the requirement. I was told by the advisor back in November that lifespan psychology was no longer required. So I decided not to take it and applied for both summer and fall. But apparently, the course is still required. I am still going to take the lifespan psychology during the summer and hoping to get into the fall program, but realizing that my chance of getting in just decreased half way is pretty stressful:crying2:

Hmm...interesting that they actually called to tell you . That's pretty cool that they took the time to call you. I wonder if they are personally calling all applicants. So it sounds like they are still working on Summer? Did they give you any idea about getting in for Fall if you do take that class in Summer?

Hi hope. I actually asked the lady who called if she could tell me anything about my application status but she didnt know. Im not sure if they are calling everyone and letting people know about their incomplete application. But as you said, it seems like they are working on the summer program right now.

I haven't heard a thing. I wonder if that is bad news. I only applied to the fall program, however. Did anyone else get a call?

Hi Hope and Kathy! I haven't heard a peep out of CSUN either. I applied for summer and fall. If they had tons of qualified applicants, the selection process will be quite arbitrary. CSUN's the first and only nursing school to which I've applied. Right now I'm looking into other schools and options. I'm finishing Physio and Micro in June and I don't want to wait another year before starting nursing school! Time is money! Anyway, have a great weekend ladies. Take care ~FNP

Nothing yet. But FYI Passion I took lifespan last summer through ITV and it was a super easy class and only 8 weeks. You only have to go to campus one day a week for 3 hours and the rest is home study. HPH!

As for this selection process not sure what the heck is happening. I sure hope the selection for Fall does not drag into the summer...

still nothing... the last time i called they said they would get back to us by late april/early may... but who knows what's going on since they seem to be reeeeeeeeeally slow... does anyone want to call?... :wink2: hopefully we'll hear by next week!
