hm, i think i only finished all my prereqs... other than that i just really tried to stand out to them through my personal statement... o ya, i also have some volunteer experience... i think it would really help to have good references too... good luck! hopefully they really will have 3rd cohort!!!

i interviewed with the program director and another faculty member... they asked 2 typical interview questions... like how you deal with people etc. sorry, i didn't ask them how many other applicants were being interviewed )= i thought my interview went ok... it wasn't bad but i usually interview better...

i got accepted into the fall program today! yay! i'm on 2 other waitlists for msn programs... but i guess i'll just take csun! (= my interview was about 10-15min with 2 people good luck to those of you still waiting! don't be discouraged! the accelerated bsn program at csu san marcos is still taking applications until 5/23 i think. also, oklahoma univ's accelerated "online" bsn program in san diego is taking applications until 6/1! you can find them on rn.ca.gov

hello everyone... i interviewed with csun last week... it was ok... i was a little dissapointed in myself... also, i can't believe i forgot to ask when i should expect to hear back from them!!! so now i'm back to waiting... i'll update again when i hear something... hopefully it'll be good news but i'm guessing that if i don't hear from them soon it means that i didn't get in

i emailed them and they said that applications are still under review... i'm not feeling so confident anymore... they said that i should expect to hear from them in the next couple weeks =(

hello! i'm applying to the Fall session and have my advisement session over the phone tomorrow. i'm a little nervous because i received an e-mail saying that it would be an "interview"... did anyone else go through this? was it difficult to get into the program? i would really appreciate any suggestions you guys might have! thanks!

still nothing... the last time i called they said they would get back to us by late april/early may... but who knows what's going on since they seem to be reeeeeeeeeally slow... does anyone want to call?... :wink2: hopefully we'll hear by next week!

at first the waiting didn't seem too bad this time but i think it's starting to hit me again... i reeeeally hope to find out by friday! but we probably won't know until next week =(

even though it's not looking too good for me, i'm still hoping to get in somewhere this year... anywhere at this point!... i was lazy and didn't want to study for the gre so i applied to places that didn't require it... opps! my mistake! if i really don't get into any schools, i'm definitely going to apply to as many programs possible for next year... volunteer more and get better references... i just really dread having to study for the gre...

i wish i applied to more programs too... i only applied to 3 schools... i want to stay in california... i was lazy and didn't want to apply anywhere that required the gre... its not looking too good for me and i think i'll probably have to start studying for the gre and apply to more schools next year
