Hi Nurse Margo!
I am thinking about the same thing. :uhoh21: Hope someone can answer if they know anyone who had been denied and for what reasons.
Thanks!

And i hope that nobody answers :rotfl: :chuckle Hope nobody gets denied:)
Also, hope that you and I won't either:)
I'll be applying in about a month. Don't really know why i posted this thread, i quess, sometimes people just have nothing to worry about, so they make up something to get scared and nervous about.
It's just that i waited for sooo long, and i worked so hard for this moment, that now i really pray nothing goes wrong.
All the best to you.:balloons:

The issue has come up in the Philippines recently, the nurse was getting petitioned by an agency, and the agency did not have placement for the nurse in a facility, so there were about 45 that got everything cancelled.
This is where issues happen, or with something falsified on some of the documents.
You should be just fine.............

I got my visa screen certificate yesterday :chuckle
My God. These agencies sure don't sound like fun. Poor people.
After all that struggle they went through, this is the last thing i would expect to happen. It can't get any worse.
:yeahthat:
I told you that you could do it.
Doesn't that make you feel good?
Just so you know, Ying got her EAD in under five weeks, actually only 4 1/2 weeks. Hopefully, you will get yours as quick.
Yes!!! i'm very happy.
Now, i wait until they gather everything together and apply.

One possible cause of "SURE" denial of I-140 is FINANCIAL FIGURES of the petioner/employer.
The employer must prove to the USCIS that they can give the salary prescribed by law to the one being petitioned. So financial statements should be submitted before a case can be adjudicated.

am curious too about this question.
was there ever a known case of a candidate being denied during the interview with the consulate? meaning, after the I140 approval, packet 3, NVC case approval, and medical?
thanks.

whoever know how long immigration takes?
Please read some of the other posts on this forum. There are many variables that go into it. The Visa Center where you are being processed, if you are doing things thru an agency, how long before they pay the bill. The attorney that is handling your case.
Right now, you will see anywhere from about nine months or so, until several years.
Make sure that you do your homework before signing with an agency, before you go that route.
