Does anyone know if there are any welcome or information sessions for us to attend? I've actually never seen the campus/facilities. I am going to make an appt with financial aid to talk about possible scholarships, etc, but I'd like to do a tour at some point.

I signed up for the upcoming information session (Aug. 13th 6-8pm). It sounds like it is more focused for those applying to the program, but they did say it is for those who have already been accepted as well. Hopefully, it will be beneficial.
Thanks...im going to look into that
They sent me an email saying that there will be a mandatory orientation and that there would be another emai onits way with information on the date.

It looks like a nice campus conveniently located by the redline. AP05, if you get any good insight about scholarship opportunities please share. I looked around online and read about 10,000$ scholarship they give for students who are minorities in nursing I hope that scholarship is still around, i'll have to inquire about it.

I've been to the informational session when I first looked into the program. It is geared more toward those wanting to apply, but it is very helpful since they go through what you can expect if you are in the program, including an outline of the classes we will be taking each quarter. If you haven't gone to one, I suggest you go if you can just to get a better feel of the program. They didn't give a tour of the facilities though, at least not in the session that I attended.
The campus is located by the Fullerton stop which the red line, brown line, and purple line all run through. Very conveinent if you're looking for a place to live since a lot of places further from Lincoln Park are cheaper, so as long as you can find somewhere close to any L stations for those three lines you'll have an easy way to campus.

Congratulations everyone! I was accepted back in March. I've been waiting a while... LOL.
Wow.. it is going to be a year long wait for you by January lol ^
I wonder if we have to complete the general graduate immunization stuff on our campus connect that shows up right now or do we wait for the school of nursing to contact us to complete the immunization requirements? I know we have to do a lot of stuff on some site when the school of nursing contacts us (background check, immunization, proof of insurance etc..)
I sent in my immunizations Tuesday through campus connect and my immunization tab went away yesterday.
