U.S.A. Illinois

Is there anyone who has been accepted for the the winter 2015 cohort and if so what was the turn around time for a response. Also, if you dont mind sharing what was your gpa and gre scores?

So i emailed admissions today to see what the status of my application was and she said a decision was made and that they are sending out the letters this week but she can't tell me what the decision is. Has this happened to anyone else? Currently freaking out

I'm responding because I got accepted at the Rosalind Franklin Campus for winter 2015 and I'm hoping that my response will be helpful to those wanting to apply...It took about 4 weeks for me to get a response...my GPA in undergrad was a 3.04; my GPA for PreReqs was a 3.0 so I had to take the GRE, I scored 154 and 156 for verbal and quant my writing was 3.5 but

I scored a 4.0 on my previous GRE test (My GRE scores were outdated so I had to retake it) Hopefully this helps good luck to all

Also, due to the fact that I had to retake my GRE my application was completed later than the deadline It was completed September 12th 2014 and I got a response October 11th 2014

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to ask....I am thinking of applying for the FALL 2015 MENP...However I have a couple of issues...

1. I haven't taken the GRE

2. My pre-reqs are almost done. I got C's on A&P 1 and 2, Micro and Chem 1. I still need to take Org and Chem 2.

3. I already have a bachelors but in Fine Arts

My question is what are my chances of getting in when my GPA is around 3?

has anyone gotten accepted with a low GPA?

PLEASE HELP ME!!!

I am in a somewhat similar boat as the previous poster. I have completed all of my anatomy 1&2 and chem with an A and two B's respectively, and will be taking Orgo this january(though still applying for the Jan 15th deadline for Fall '15). My question is more broad though, as I finished my undergrad in music with a 3.8 but when I put ALL of my other science courses together like physics and chem and micro then my science gpa is not even a 2.8, which makes my overall gpa fall to a 3.6. Does depaul only require you to take the GRE if those four prerequisite courses that only they require fall under a 3.2? or because of my overall science gpa I absolutely do need to take the GRE? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Hi anitka6... DePaul only looks at your GPA from your undergrad degree (this was true when I applied April 2014, things might of changed so please make sure). Also, at the time I applied, DePaul did not look at your science GPA. Applicants did have to turn in a sheet in which we listed the 4 required science classes (general chemistry 1, organic chemistry 1 , A &P 1 and 2) and the grade we achieved in each. The GRE is only required if your undergrad GPA is under 3.2. You should be okay, but, like I said please ensure DePaul ' s requirements have not changed. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. :-)

Hello! What were your grades in the pre-reqs? Any C's or retake of classes?
