Is there anyone who has been accepted for the the winter 2015 cohort and if so what was the turn around time for a response. Also, if you dont mind sharing what was your gpa and gre scores?
Finally... I got my welcome email :) I couldn't be happier!!! @sampsonsis, if I recall correctly that is how their undergrad grading system works as well- it wasn't so bad! DePaul is a great school and if we all got in I'm sure we can handle anything they throw at us!! Congrats everyone, I cannot wait to meet you all!
Totally agree @isthisreal. We can do this. We all got through undergrad and got into the program. There will be times where we will struggle, not sleep, cry. It will be worth it to get into this fantastic profession, and for those interested in advanced practice nursing this program lays the foundation to pursue that. I'm excited and nervous. Everyone has a unique background here and I can't wait to meet you all. STUDY PARTIES! lol.
You can look here and see when everything starts/ends for the 2014-2015 school year, which includes our winter quarter
Yup the FAFSA was on my to do list, I sent it in and it will probable take a while to get an award. Tuition is Due in early December so I'm guessing we will receive our package in November-ish. I still need to inquire about this scholarship I've heard they have for underrepresented groups in nursing. The only thing on my to do list right now is the immunization.. I need to get into contact with my old primary care doctor -__-

I was a little worried about it at first, but a lot of my best friends from undergrad were nursing majors and this is typically what their grading scale looked like, though slightly different, and they had to maintain and 3.0 GPA to stay in the program. It is daunting to look at but as bigj14151588 mentioned, this is graduate school. We all got in, so it means we are definitely capable of meeting their standards and we will all have each other to stay on track and get those As!!!
