DePaul University MENP Fall 2021

Hello! I have applied for the Depaul University MENP Program for the 2021 cohort. I was wondering if there were anyone else who applied for the program. When are we expected to hear back? Are you excited or nervous? I hope to hear your experiences and share mine!

I got mine and I feel the same way. I don’t think I received enough loans to pay for other miscellaneous stuff such as housing..

Wait ya!! first, my financial aid letter for this upcoming school year only includes fall, Winter, and Spring, but we also have a Summer quarter.... So, im v v confused LOL. I'm considering contacting their financial aid office or applying for my own grad plus loans outside of what they awarded in my package. Anyone have any thoughts??

Hi! I spoke with the financial aid office on Zoom yesterday and they were super helpful! Apparently, FAFSA doesn't automatically distribute loans for Summer because most academic programs don't have mandatory Summer terms (ie business or law programs). We will get an email next April about whether you need financial aid for Summer, and if you do, you would get the same amount that you would get for any other quarter. The financial aid office has drop-in Zoom meetings so you can speak with someone anytime a question comes up!

The group is private (just so that random people aren't joining in), but if you request to join, I will approve the request. Hopefully, it will make things easier for everyone to connect, ask questions and get ready for this fall!

I got accepted from DePaul but just submitted my intent form for Rush University. Hopefully, it opens up a spot for those who are waiting ? Good luck!

Hi! Anyone here know anything about UIC's grad entry program vs. DePaul's? I applied and got accepted at both but now trying to decide which would be best. I know a lot of nurses that have graduated from DePaul's MENP but none from UIC so I have very little insight on that program haha.

Hi! I just received my acceptance well. I also do not know anyone who graduated from the AGMS program at UIC, but I have been to a couple of the open houses and had meetings with the program advisor so I might be able to answer some of your questions! My email is [email protected]

I haven't heard anything either!  I was just having a convo about this about 30 minutes ago. ??‍♀️  I was just accepted to another program though, so I'm not as anxious as I was about it last week.

 I emailed my admissions rep  2 weeks ago and she said due to the high volume of applications they received, it's taking them longer to get all the decisions out, and they are released in no particular order. I hope that helps!

I know this is an old post but wanted to ask those of you who completed the Depaul FNP program....does Depaul help you find a clinical site?
