DePaul University MENP Fall 2021

Hello! I have applied for the Depaul University MENP Program for the 2021 cohort. I was wondering if there were anyone else who applied for the program. When are we expected to hear back? Are you excited or nervous? I hope to hear your experiences and share mine!

Thank you! I applied back in December. I emailed them beginning of February asking when we would hear back and I was told March 15! So I was very shocked to get a response so soon. I also applied to Rush and we get a response March 5th.  And I applied to quite a few other schools in different states. 

Good to know. I did too! But I applied to DePaul in January, so I’ll probably have to wait awhile before I hear back. Hopefully you don’t have to accept until you’ve heard back from the other schools.

Yes, when I applied I remember putting Lincoln Park as my first choice and Rosalind as my second. I don’t know much about Chicago but it seemed like there were more housing options near the main campus of course 

I also got into Rosalind campus! When the Lincoln Park students get their acceptance we should make a facebook group for everyone! Good luck everyone!

I contacted Admissions Committee yesterday and was informed the following:

"We are hoping to have MENP Fall '21 application decisions out by middle to late March."

Good luck to everyone. Hopefully we hear back sooner than later ?

By any chance, do we have to send our intent before we can set up bluekey?

I got my BlueKey setup email a few days after my acceptance. I think the letter said it should take 24 hours but mine definitely took longer. I haven't sent my intent yet so you should get it either way

Okay, thank you! I think I’ll try it again tomorrow, if I’m still unable to do it, I’ll call on Friday ? I haven’t sent my intent yet either, are you still waiting for other schools?

I am still waiting on a few schools, but I don't think I'll hear back from them before my intent deadline so I will probably accept and then reevaluate once I've heard back from everywhere. DePaul is definitely one of my top schools so I'm excited to have it as a solid option
