Hello! I have applied for the Depaul University MENP Program for the 2021 cohort. I was wondering if there were anyone else who applied for the program. When are we expected to hear back? Are you excited or nervous? I hope to hear your experiences and share mine!

Same here! Accepted to Rosalind campus yesterday, but when I checked my NursingCas, I applied to Lincoln Park. Either way, super excited to be part of the DePaul community! Moving from out of state as well :)

I thought I was crazy! But congratulations! I’m so excited to connect with everyone

In my opinion, the biggest differences in the programs are the clinicals. It is super convenient that all of the Rush clinical rotations are through the Rush University System (much less to think about in terms of clinical planning and less traveling). However, through DePaul, you would get a much wider variety of experiences with different hospitals and different hospital systems (although you might get your second choice instead of your top choice for some clinical rotations). You should also think about where you want to work after graduation (whether you would prefer to work at Rush or at another hospital system). You have two wonderful options- you just need to decide what kind of clinical experience would best fit your academic and professional goals ?

Thank you for the insight! I'm definitely weighing all my options and writing down the pros and cons for each school. Clinicals are important to me and I really need to think through it ?

I’m hearing back from 2 schools w/in the next two weeks. And 2 others with unknown date. If not, I will be doing the same thing as you since DePaul is also one of my top schools ? Good luck!
