Denver School of Nursing October 2017 Start

Published

Hi, everyone!

I am patiently waiting to hear back from Denver School of Nursing for October 2017. Please reach out if anybody else is doing the same!

I got my interview email as well! It didn't come until the evening. :) Congrats everyone!

I got an interview as well :)

Hi everyone,

I got an interview as well! :')

Hello! I have an interview on May 30th.

Hello! I have an interview on May 30th.

Please let me know how the interview goes. Does the interview invite mean that we've been accepted to the school?

I had DSN students at my work for their clinical rotation and they all told me that if you got an interview invite you are accepted as long as you pass the hesi and can finance the program.

The email sounds very promising. I'd like to say I've been accepted, however, I don't want to jinx it. I am assuming if all your background/criminal/drug tests come back clean and you have your official transcripts and all your vaccinations then you're in. I have a BS degree, just graduated on May 6th from UNC. So, I don't have to worry about the HESI exam. Do you have an interview time set up yet?

Hi,

I saw that the school is scheduled for an accreditation visit in Spring 2017. Did they renew their accreditation?

Hi there I just saw this post and thought I would add to it! I too have an interview for DSN and am very excited. Hoping to potentially meet you all!

I have my BA so I don't have to worry about the HESI as well. My interview is July 28th. Barely cutting it close to the deadline.

Hi Guys,

I also received my, what i'll call, acceptance email. I have a few acquaintances who have attended and for those of us with prior degrees who do not require the HESI the email is pretty much your acceptance letter. As far as those who do not have prior degrees, passing the HESI and securing financing pretty much secures your spot. For all email recipients, the obvious passing of the drug/physical exams and having your immunizations in order still applies. I am very excited to meet you guys (for those of you doing the BSN Completion option), and cannot wait to get to work together!

Hi Amber! I have my interview on July 28th as well!! Idk why it's so late but I live in California so I was thinking that was the reason.
