  1. It won't let me create a group without having people as friends first either that or I don't know what I'm doing but no I haven't seen to been able to find a group
  2. Haha, so i am also struggling to focus just because I moved in the middle of the class and then Denver is so beautiful its hard to buckle down haha BUT I also have a B and pending any MAJOR dysfunction I'm pretty confident the B is locked in :) you wanna add me on Facebook? Dirk Alexander Saar
  3. Hey guys! If anyone who has been accepted wants to add me on Facebook "Dirk Saar" is my name, I tried creating or looking for a group for us but i have to have ATLEAST one person to add to it to create a "Group"
  4. Did you have a hard AP class? And if so did you do exceptionally well in them? Because if yes then you'll be fine, if your AP classes were easy or you struggled then it will be hard because its the same type of stuff
  5. @UNC I dont have a link for the scholarships but they are on USAjobs.gov just search HPSP and look for the ones that say -Nursing, they post them often (usually close to each fall of course because of school starting) they are a great way to receive school funding AND A stipend for those who need income requirements are all explained in the post and of course afterwords you owe them two year work commitment aka guaranteed job after school haha
  6. @Nursegumdrop hey I was told today we wouldnt get the actual schedule until September but if you have patho done or are doing patho now its only two classes they said expect 3 days a week, and the new schedule makes the second quarter lighter!!! Thank goodness!
  7. I have no clue, I'm assuming some of our schedules will be different though since myself and a few others are currently taking pathophysiology and will not have that first quarter like everyone else. Either way there aren't any clinical first quarter so it shouldnt be SO bad (fingers crossed)
  8. Claire224 it might be a bit premature since they said interviews were going to be scheduled out until July 29th but after that yes! A facebook group would be an awesome way for us to talk and meet each other
  9. Wow!!! I'm taking the online patho right now too haha workload DOES look intense!!! I'm doing mine through ACC! A lot of reading since class started just yesterday haha
  10. Hey UNC how did your interview go? Nvm just say your above comment, my enrollment day is July 11th :)
  11. Hey guys for those of you interested, once your officially set up with DSN, both the Veterans Association and the U.S. Public health service offer scholarships for commitment. Most of the VA scholarships will pay 100% of tuition for nursing students and a monthly stipend and only require a 2 years work commitment afterwords! Dont let financing be the reason you can't move on!
  12. I am a Navy veteran and so I've already secured financing due to my education benefits from serving. I've waited 5 years of service and a year and a half of pre-reqs for this so i am really anxious and excited to start!!! I meet with them July 11th :)
  13. Awesome! Congratulations, come on guys who else?
  14. Hi Guys, I also received my, what i'll call, acceptance email. I have a few acquaintances who have attended and for those of us with prior degrees who do not require the HESI the email is pretty much your acceptance letter. As far as those who do not have prior degrees, passing the HESI and securing financing pretty much secures your spot. For all email recipients, the obvious passing of the drug/physical exams and having your immunizations in order still applies. I am very excited to meet you guys (for those of you doing the BSN Completion option), and cannot wait to get to work together!
  15. Hey guys, I got my email just looking for others who have and will be classmates in October 2017 for the BSN completion option program. Are any of you going to knock out pathophysiology before classes start in October? I'm knocking patho out starting May 30th at Arapahoe Community College. The admissions coordinator at DSN already said they would accept it All the best! Dirk
