Hi, everyone!
I am patiently waiting to hear back from Denver School of Nursing for October 2017. Please reach out if anybody else is doing the same!
Hi everyone,
I don't know if I'd be much help but I have applied to DSN already (for the April 2017 start date) and was accepted. However. I couldn't financially afford the program at the start date. If anyone is curious, we will receive emails at the end of the week that will say "congratulations, you're application has been approved to make an interview appointment" -- this basically means you are IN. The interview is not much of an interview other than the director asking why you chose DSN and why would personally want to be a nurse. A lot of what DSN bases acceptances off of, is the type of person you are -- experiences and a 3.0 GPA are all well but they want to know who it is they truly are accepting -- what are your interests outside of a bachelors degree, outside of health science volunteering experiences etc. Kelly (the admissions director) is super welcoming and spends a good 2 hours talking to you about the program and touring you around the school. The one down side is figuring out housing and how to afford the program. I wish everyone luck and if anyone has questions, I'd be happy to try and help answer them!

Hey! I have also applied for the BSN program! Has anyone heard anything yet?
