Denied by CABON now to take LVN..

World Registration

Can anyone help me here, I'm planning to take the LVN exam because I just got denied by CABON because of the concurrency issue..I just want to know:

Method #3 - Equivalent Education and/or Experience(the PHARMACOLOGY course)Do I need to submit it also? and how? or I just need to submit only the

Method #2 - Graduates of an Out-of-State School of Practical/Vocational Nursing.

BTW, I'm an international graduate, Registered Nurse from the Philippines but I can't sit for the NCLEX-RN exam that is why I decided to take this one. Hope someone can answer my question thank you.

I applied with the BVNPT way back in 2010 after I graduated. I let that application expire then I re-sent my application to BVNPT last year. I recieved my eligibility right after I re-sent my application. But my ATT took quite a while to arrive. Around 3 months IIRC.

What month is being process?

Feb.10.

can someone please send me a copy of record of nursing program from your school(already filled, you can erase or blur your grades and name and school name), preferably from a person who have already taken their exam.. our dean doesn't seem to know how to fill it up and I'm afraid she will make a mistake. and could furthur delay my application, and would cost me more money. please send it through this email [email protected] thank you very much in advance to who ever sends it.

As much as I want to help you, I dont have a copy of the form that my school filled out since that form should be coming from the school straight to bvnpt.

Does anyone know what date/s is/are being processed now?

Sent out my initial application to bvnpt, they emailed me they doing feb. 13 (equivalency applicants) ... What's this nursing declaration form you guys speak of?

It's a declaration of our nursing education and they'll ask some informations about it.

Whoah. Really? I emailed them Oct. 11 and I received a reply that they're processing Feb. 20 applicants. I emailed them again this week, and they said they're working on Feb. 20. (Still?) I know they're swamped with applicants but I dint think it was that much...

Simple, they are processing the regular CA students and nurses much quicker as there's more graduating. There's really very little job demand for LVN's in CA as even the local new grads can't even find a job.

Is it fair? Probably not, but I think what plagued the CA BRN with the Recto falsified documents is maybe flooding the BVNPT now. The last thing the BVNPT wants to do is end up with eggs in the face with what happened to the CA BRN.

I think maybe, just maybe that the BVNPT may start to enforce the same concurrency rules as the CA BRN.

I have already mentioned in a couple of other threads, BVNPT clearly states the concurrency requirement in its website. Maybe their legal dept and head advisers are trying to figure what to say?

It seems awfully too long to delay applications this long, as it doesn't appear to be a big issue of this being reported in the CA nursing forums for the local CA grads and students.

Just my thoughts, maybe BVNPT is really swamped from the extra thousands of unexpected overflows from the declined PH CA BRN applicants. However, if they are finding some applications with the Recto items, maybe they are gathering more evidence to stop the greedy nurses and have placed a few bad apples with the good ones.

"February 20, 2013 for equivalency."

This is the reply I got dated Oct.21. And if I remember correctly, they're working on July applicants for CA grads as of Oct. 11. I must've deleted that certain email saying that. But on my sent items, the date is Oct.11. As for the reply, I remember it saying, Feb.20 for equivalency. Feb. something for new applicants. July something for CA grads. So when I got the email Oct.21 saying they're working on Feb.20 applicants, of course I was a bit surprised. I know they're swamped with all the applicants, it's just that I didn't think it was that much that they're really lagging. At least now I know what to expect and just have to wait patiently. But just imagine my confusion when I read that post saying they're working on Feb.13. so I just wanted a clarification as to what date he got the email.

Filipino applicants out there, please don't give the race a bad name by submitting false documents. Don't cheat, earn your degree. Karma will get you and mess up other pinoys as well.
