has anyone heard of this company/agency deltacare? what are your feedbacks? im confused with their hiring process because im having my interview tomorrow and i dont even know who im going to work for.. the whats,whys,hows...
as far as i know deltacare (USmedical staff) has helped me process my papers... my case is still pending though... they came here in tuguegarao the other day and there are nurses who are already in packet 2... they explained that it can take us 2 to 5 years for a chance at an immigrant visa, but they assured that we will have sure jobs when we finally make it there.
Would say at the moment definitely taking longer than 2 years and may even be longer than 5 as we have several members with a PD of late 05 and still waiting
As for me, they tried to process my papers because I was supposed to go to a Large Hospital in New Jersey, somehow, I don't exactly know what happened, they made me sign some waiver and an affidavit that ask to change the lawyer. Then they re applied my I140 because the first one got denied, they did this without informing me.
By this, I was in doubt. So I asked them to stop the processing and backed out.
They we're in manila last February....... The 3000$ salary deduction mentioned in their agreement really made me think twice. ..... but looking at the big picture..... it's a lot better compared to those people who ask for money upfront...... aside from the fact that the employer will spend like 6k$ in processing my papers......for me its acceptable considering that the US w/c includes nursing facilities is not doing well financially....
All in all the offer was not great, not poor either. It was just fine. Considering that I'm jobless right now..... my volunteering ended last November..... and its like taking me forever to find a job....goodluck.
i signed up since my friends are also with them. for them so far so good.
I also signed up with Deltacare. I am not at all happy as to how they are processing our papers. I wrote them a letter recently telling them to pull out my application completely (currently in packet 2).
Another thing, I would like to ask if anyone here has any idea about the legality aspect of withdrawing a current pending application. I am already based overseas and got a permanent resident status from where I am now. I have no intention anymore of migrating or working in the US. Can the agency still go after me for any damages?.. considering the contract I have signed has no effect outside of the Philippines.
You really need to speak to the agency in regards to cancellation fee as it can still be expected even if things are out of your hands due to retrogression
Surely there will be a cancellation fee. But is there a way for them to go after me if I already live overseas and refuse to pay any damages? I know I am being bad now just thinking of this but I am just curious to know. Anybody here who has a case like this? Can the agency report me to immigration and have me blacklisted? (if in case I wanna travel to the US in the future)
