Has anyone used the Delmar Nursing Review by Donna Gauwitz? I was on the NSNA website and they were referring this book for review. I also did a search on Amazon and seen pretty good reviews. I don't graduate until June 2009 and my school uses ATI. I am scoring Level 1 on most proctored exams, hence a 85% chance passing the NCLEX (according to ATI) when I took my comprehensive exam.
Just trying to stay ahead of the game. We are required to do 100 NCLEX questions a week. I think I need to work on the content as well as how to pick the correct answer after narrowing it down to two answers. I might try Kaplan question strategies.
Any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Haven't seen anything about the Delmar review in a very long time. Not familiar with it. Most people use the Saunders review book or Kaplan course. Best advice is to stick with one source to avoid confusion and to do as many questions as possible. Study the rationales given with both right and wrong answers. Good luck.

When I was at the last NSNA conference they really push this review. I have one of the books. I used the "Practice Questions for NCLEX" during nursing school. I thought it was more comprehensive and recognition questions though.
For NCLEX you should have more analysis and application questions. I thought Kaplan was more similar to NCLEX questions. Kaplan is expensive but i think it worth and there is the money back quarantee!

We have the Delmar CD to use as a review tool. They are great. I agree with Caliotter3.......study the rationales for both the right and wrong answers.
