On National Nurses Week 2015, New York Times bestselling author Alexandra Robbins will release her next riveting book: THE NURSES: A YEAR WITH THE HEROES BEHIND THE HOSPITAL CURTAIN. Alexandra is looking to the allnurses community to provide names of your real life hero nurses to be included in the Wall of Heroes. Heroes are nurses who inspire you such as your mother, coworker, teacher, relative, supervisor, preceptor, friend.
To include a nurse in the book's Wall of Heroes, please click on the link below to access the submission. Submit the completed form by December 10 with the name of a nurse who inspires you, the nurse's degrees, and state. There is no catch, no cost, and no contest: We simply want to celebrate nurses.
To learn more about the book, which represents the voices of hundreds of nurses Robbins interviewed across the country, visit http://www.workman.com/features/nurses While the book possesses all the twists, turns, and satisfactions of a brilliantly told narrative, it is also a celebration of a unique profession that deserves so much more recognition than it gets.
Alexandra was winner of the Best Nonfiction Book of the Year (Goodreads Choice Awards) for her book, The Geeks Shall Inherit The Earth
Submit a Nurse to be Included in the Wall of Heroes
I just submitted 4 names. These 4 women are the epitome of excellence in nursing. Two of them I met before I became a nurse and they were major contributors to my decision to go back to school. The other two are women I've met through my work in peds critical care. If I could only be half as good as any one of them, I'd be ecstatic.
I might be able to extend the deadline for nurse dedication submissions... Stay tuned!
I'm sure it's too late, but if not feel free to email me. I am a nurse, and have a wonderful nurse I would love to submit that took care of my aunt who passed away when she was in the hospital. My email is [email protected] or just get ahold of me through here! If it is too late I can't wait to read it!!!

That's terrific. Those are exactly the kinds of nurses who should be honored in this section. Thank you!
