So, I finally feel I should not give up......I will be a retaker for 2nd time in December. I felt so low when I failed the test in July'07. I was thinking to take in october but just couldnt get motivated to study. In the meantime, I joined RN-BSN program. So, currently I am in school taking 15 credits of classes. I need to have my RN license before winter so I can do practical in communnity health, a required class for BSN.

After visiting this site almost everyday, reading success stories and encouragement given by one of my wonderful instructor from my ASN program, I am motivated to do it.

So, newcomers as well as retakers, Lets get together, support each other and lets pass the RN test. WE CAN DO IT.

For now, I have started practicing Q&A at least 2 hrs/day from Saunders CD. I will keep you updating and hope you all will share the tips as well.

i found out this morning. my name is on the ca bon website. i thought i failed but i didn't. 3rd times a charm. thanks to everyone here at allnurses for their support, i couldn't have done it with out this site or susanne's plan!

the test plan for nclex pharm is 13-19% but today I felt the test was all about pharm........almost 50% or even more.. ....last 100 ques were almost about chemo...cancer....chemo's interaction with other drugs and herbs...and chemo cocktail for metastatic cancer....rxn with radiation therapy etc.

How can that be??? That means i was really weak in pharm right???? The test was so based on oncology and i know i started getting really tired towards the end and my concentration gone.

If you are weak in an area can they ask more than 13-19% as in my case pharm??????

This is my 2nd time and I dont want to sit for third one.

I don't think they we're giving you more pharma questions coz that's your weak part. i noticed before on my practice questions that even if i'm answering test questions under physio integrity or psych there seem to be always a drug question.

As you know I tested in DEC also and did not pass.

I will be Trying Suzzanne's plan so I guess my new test date will be around March sometime. We can and will all do this. All of us completed RN school so we all have what we need must just figure out what that NCLEX is after.

For those of us whom practice nursing already we must forget that and replace with RN steps. I do believe this is how some of us are getting tripped up( may be wrong)
