So, I finally feel I should not give up......I will be a retaker for 2nd time in December. I felt so low when I failed the test in July'07. I was thinking to take in october but just couldnt get motivated to study. In the meantime, I joined RN-BSN program. So, currently I am in school taking 15 credits of classes. I need to have my RN license before winter so I can do practical in communnity health, a required class for BSN.
After visiting this site almost everyday, reading success stories and encouragement given by one of my wonderful instructor from my ASN program, I am motivated to do it.
So, newcomers as well as retakers, Lets get together, support each other and lets pass the RN test. WE CAN DO IT.
For now, I have started practicing Q&A at least 2 hrs/day from Saunders CD. I will keep you updating and hope you all will share the tips as well.

i just got back from the test. it stopped at 142. i had about 8 select all apply, 4 meds, lots of priority questions. oh god, i feel so depressed and sad..b'coz i checked few of the questions that i had remembered...and they seemed to be wrong. the more i looked the more i am getting wrong. so now i kept my books a side...b'coz it is freaking me out.!!!! please pray for me too...

it seems like you did just fine. i suggest you just stop browsing your books coz it'll make you more anxious. let us know how you did okay. congratz in advance!
iel21 yah, You are right. it is only making me anxious. i haven't been able to eat anything today. I went out to mall thinking that may be that will help me thinking away from the test but...didn't actually help. well now i can't do anything except pray pray and pray. so when are you giving your test? who ever will be giving test later on....Make sure you know well about the infection control. i had tons of them..seriously i had may be at leat like 6. May be i made mistake on that more!! well but it's better to know when you were gloves, gown , mask and whom to put in private room ..that sort of things. Anyway good luck
