Hi,
I graduated in December with a BSN and already received my authorization to test and scheduled my NCLEX!!!! I am completely beyond nervous and can't decide if it's better to just take it and get it over with in a few weeks or wait longer.
Most of my teachers have said to take it SOON. Is anyone else nervous?
CONGRATS Corrado. I take the test on Tuesday!! Any words of advice???:balloons: :) :balloons: :) :balloons: :) :balloons: :) :balloons: :) :balloons:
Just take your time and remeber what you learned in school.... I had a few friends that took it and failed. They said they spent to much time studying and started to second guess themselfs. I spent 2 days about 2 weeks before taking my boards reviewing the areas I had problems with in school. Other then that Good Luck..... You already know the material, You made it thru school, Time to get the Boards over with.....

Okay, I am of course no where near graduating yet, and I hope this doesn't sound stupid, but what does "ATT", mean?
Hi New_Mom_LPN_Student, the "ATT" is the Authorization To Test, issued from your state board of nursing. The state board reviews your application for licensure and then issues you an ATT, meaning that your application has been accepted pending your passing the NCLEX. When you have your ATT you can call a testing center near you and make your own appointment to take the NCLEX.
HTH :)

Thanks. What holds them up from giving some the ATT asap?
NCCLEXI took the test Feb 14. It shut off after 75 questions. I thought I had failed. I had alot of the alternative style questions. The type where you must select all of the correct answers or it is wrong. I took the Kaplan as well as used the Saunders. What truly helps the most is the rationales. Bottom line...I passed. :yelclap: I cannot believe that I have come so far. Good Luck to All. Try to control the stress!
