dec grads, when r u taking the nclex?

Hi,

I graduated in December with a BSN and already received my authorization to test and scheduled my NCLEX!!!! I am completely beyond nervous and can't decide if it's better to just take it and get it over with in a few weeks or wait longer.

Most of my teachers have said to take it SOON. Is anyone else nervous?

Give yourself some time to review. Don't put it off for too long, but if you are really devoting a good amount of time toward studying everyday, then you could give yourself a week or two. I took it exactly 3 weeks after finals and passed. I studied Kaplan and Saunders every day between then. Let me know if you want to hear some of the questions I got. I actually remember quite a few!

I had to sign a confidentiality statement when I took mine, that I would not divulge any of the contents of the test to anyone. All I can say is, some of the choices for answers were really dum. FYI :uhoh21: :saint:

take it soon, you would not believe how quickly you start to forget things, I mean your still in the testing state of mind right? go for it..if you have studied hard all along it will be a breeze. good luck

Was your test for LPN? I took NCLEX RN and did not have to sign any such agreement. Did anyone taking NCLEX RN have to do that??

I graduated 12-14-04, sent all my paper work out that day. Still no ATT, grrr....I guess I will keep waiting by my mail box :uhoh3:

I graduated in December and I'm taking the NCLEX Feb. 3rd. I start work January 24th in the ED.

I'm taking it feb 9, but I think I may postpone it. I recently went to Vegas and am going on a cruise to Mexico next week, so I'll need more time to prepare. I took a review course in san francisco, but I really need to hit the books and practice questions.. no job yet.. not in a rush anyway; I want to enjoy my vacation as long as possible!

I took NCLEX PN. To be totally honest, I do remember signing something, and then reading that if you agree not to divulge any info about the test, content, etc. so I am not absolutely 100% if that was on the form I signed there, or on another sheet of instructions given to me. sorry if I upset anyone.

Did u put on there your email addy they should send u confirmation there. Hope u hear soon. I sent mine off today grad. on dec. 10. I'm studying everything i can get my hands on, but worried that all that will not be enough.
