Deadline for college application next week.

Hi allnurses,

I'm in my last year of highschool, and need to save money. I'm applying to Algonquin college in Ottawa, Canada, and I was wondering which would be cheaper for me; Bridging from LPN to BSN (Practical Nursing (2 years) -> Bridging Program (12 weeks) + experience -> 3rd year of Bachelor of Science Nursing= 5 years in total) or (General Art & Science Pre-Nursing (1 year) -> Bachelor of Science in Nursing (4 years) = 5years in total.) which one costs more? anyone with any knowledge please help. the deadline is on my last day of exams, so I will be so busy studying I don't have the time to ask someone better than here.

I think i'm in the wrong place, this is only for Americans right?

Pleeeeeeeease help.

You can work as a practical nurse thus reducing your student loan requirements whilst completing the degree

Try pre nursing (if you haven't decide it). If you're marks are to low, do RPN and then work for couple years and then go do the bridge to become a nurse.

RPNs are nurses, FYI :)
