Published

Is anyone waiting to hear if they get into Daytona State's spring 2010 program? I have read some posts of people starting this fall and would love to hear from y'all too on how it is going so far. Is it everything you thought it would be? Just some heads up information would be nice. I'm really excited and ready to start! Hope to get my letter soon!:redbeathe

Specializes in Intensive medical care.

I'm in the night classs and I'm also the last class in the old curriculum so it's a little bit different. We didn't really do community health as much as you will I think but I did a rotation at Daytona Health and Rehab, Med/Surg at Halifax, Pysch at Stewart Marchman and now OB/Peds back at Halifax. I believe my last Med/Surg is going to be at the new Florida Hospital campus in Ormond. It really depends as to where you go.

Hi i'm francesca and i got accpeted too!! I requested for the flagler campus however its more conviently for me and my daughter to be in the same area. but how did you get in contact for the free cpr class at palm coast? im running low on money and i would love the free class. if you could help me out with a number or something that would be great thank you!! and congrats too!

Does any one know the number to RVSP to the JumpStart. I lost the paper. :( Well me or my daughter lost it but either way its gone! LOL.

The Jumpstart RSVP # is 506-3250.

I don't know the Flager free cpr class info, but the next cheapest is Ormond. It is Dec 5th for $25 (they loan you the book for free). To sign up, go to Ormond City Hall (at the foot of the Granada brige mainland side). Go upstairs to the receptionist and tell her what you need.

Hello, I'm a little above you all in Jacksonville, but I'm a regular visitor of Daytona. Just wanted to say good luck to everyone starting DSC nursing program. I'm applying to FSCJ's in august. This next 8 months will be the longest of my life. Congrats and good luck again to everyone! God Bless!

What time is orientation and which building is it in? I left my papers in Louisiana!!

It's in the Theatre Center; Building 220 at 9am.

Hope everyone has a good Christmas! Just wanted to let people that aren't on PC campus know that the teacher sent us a course outline for the first semester. At orientation we made a contact list and someone emailed the instructor asking what we would be learning the first couple of weeks and she emailed the outline to her. It looks like it will be tons of reading! I am sure your instructors will email yall one if you are interested!
