Letters should be here any day. I spoke with someone on the 3rd floor and she said we will be getting our letters the first week or second week of this month by the LATEST. I applied as well and can hardly wait to get that letter!! Its nerve racking....a friend of mine also applied and unfortunately was denied (she received the letter today). Soooo.... Good luck..Im crossing my fingers for you!

I got in too!!! I got it today. I am sooo excited! now I have a bunch of things to do before Dec. 18!! haha

congrats to everyone! I am so excited and scared and worried...haha can't wait to start. I'm kinda freaking out about the cost of it all.

Yeah the costs are def. racking up!! Got my physical for 40, TB for 20, Blood work and urinalysis for 50, renewing my CPR tomorrow...LOL....Trying to find somewhere that can do a Varicella Antibody Titer being that I know for a fact I had chickenpox back in 1st grade!! Does anyone know where I can get this? I do not have health insurance or a family doctor and I was told that the Health Department doesnt preform them.....thinking Im going to decline on the Hep B :crying2: ....funds are sooooo tight with Christmas and my oldest's birthday next month!!!! Ughhh i feel your pain!!

I'm scheduling my physical and all that bit for this week. Still looking for a CPR course.

I'll ask at my physical about the varciella antibody titer..... in the meantime, maybe you can get it done at a walk-in place?

Check employ med for the vac. and for the cpr course i found one in palm coast for HCP at a fire station for free on Dec. 10. He said the instructor would write a letter of completion if you don't get the card in the mail by the 18th. I still have everything to do...looking for my shot records and no one seems to have it!! What campus did yall request?

That class on the 10th sounds good (free!) - too bad I have classes on that day (chem & human dev.) I'm going to call the Ormond FD - I heard a while ago that the instructor there was really good.

I requested Daytona Days.

I found out today that the GPA cutoff was 3.2. Don't know what the total 3 of applicants vs. accepted was. Anybody know?

FYI - Ormond FD is offering the CPR class on Dec 5th for $25. You do not have to buy the book.
