Daytona State College RN Program Fall 2016??

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hey everyone! This is my first post and I hope to get some advice on applying to Daytona states nursing program in May for fall semester 2016. I currently have a 3.42 gpa and a 75% teas test score but I'm nervous that it won't be enough ugh what were some of your gpas and scores? I'm finishing my last pre reqs right now so I hope it doesn't drop much. Any advice on what easy online classes to take next semester to boost my gpa?

Hey everyone... I am applying next week! Fingers crossed! 😍 How are all of you? Anyone out there applying this month?

Hey! I am applying Monday!!! Then the stressful wait begins lol

Hey! I am applying tomorrow!

I applied for the Transition program in the beginning of May. I am an LPN already so I'm not sure what the chances are of getting in with my 3.17 GPA :/ After I graduated LPN I should have took a break but I kept on and let a couple classes go. Just finished the last 5 pre-reqs w/ all A's and B's but after reading the 2015 applicants post I'm a little nervous. My TEAS test was in the 70's. Anyone else applying for transition program?

I hope you both get accepted, with me! lol... I'm going to school to apply later! I think they said we will hear back in July... fingers crossed! My GPA is 3.43 and TEAS was passing... not over 70! Hope I get in. :)

Hi ladies, I just applied too. I really hope I get in. What are your GPAs and TEAs. Mine is 3.10 and 81. Fingered seriously crossed

For those of you concerned about your TEAS scores, I just wanted to let you know that DSC only considers the TEAS score if you have exactly the same GPA as another student and they have to pick one of you to get in. As long as you passed, it shouldn't be a problem, assuming you have a competitive GPA.

Hey!

I'm applying for transition program. I think my GPA is 3.3ish. I'm hoping it'll be enough to get into the program, but I heard that a lot of times there aren't enough applicants for the transitional program. Good luck!

You will def get in if thats the case. Us straight RN on the other hand needs extra prayer for acceptance. True the TEAs is not biggy of a deal I heard that too, GPA is priority, so still with all fingers crossed, I'm hoping for the best. Whoooooooo.....

Does anyone know how many they accept?

I think they accept around 120 applicants.

I pray we all one of the 120s........
