Daytona State College RN Program Fall 2016??

Hey everyone! This is my first post and I hope to get some advice on applying to Daytona states nursing program in May for fall semester 2016. I currently have a 3.42 gpa and a 75% teas test score but I'm nervous that it won't be enough ugh what were some of your gpas and scores? I'm finishing my last pre reqs right now so I hope it doesn't drop much. Any advice on what easy online classes to take next semester to boost my gpa?

I'm a student in DSC's RN program. I started this fall. I think your GPA and TEAS score really are fine to get in. The lowest they accepted in my application cycle was a 3.19, I believe. I got in with a TEAS score of 81%, but most applicants had a score in the 70's.

Hello Taymont! You should definitely apply. I was recently accepted for the Spring. Idk what the minimum scores were for our class, but you have a great chance of being accepted.

Hello! I am currently a student at DSC. Your GPA is fine, but your TEAS score might hurt you a little bit. If you complete all of the prereqs with As & Bs, and apply for the night program, you will have a better chance at getting accepted. Also, completing extra courses, like medical terminology, nutrition, or statistics will boost your application. Good luck!

Hey! My GPA was 3.7, and my TEAS was a 89. I also had completed all of the prereqs for the BSN program prior to admission.

Hello! I applied last semester, denied because I wasn't finished with pre-reqs. My GPA is like 3.42 right now and my TEAS score was around 78. I'm finishing English II & a humanities now. I already had a humanities but it wasn't what they required. ugh! I hope we get in! Good luck to you! I will reapply come May.
