Sheila0313,

Thanks sooo MUCH !!! I'm using Hurst Review for core content, I'm an Auditory learner, always have been ...Actually have to hear Lectures, that really benefits me, so Hurst is AWESOME ( Hope it helps pass NCLEX...LOL), but also using Kaplan test strategies and will DO the LAcharity book, which I hear is a MUST...trying to do more questions, but have a 4 month old baby and 6 yr old son, husband etc...so getting study time is hard enough, but I did very well in Nursing school, despite all that goes on...Just hope I can pass this Last exam the end of this month, Jan 25th ;-)...What are u using to study?

@ myAngel71

thank you.

M.S.LVN: No problem, I have the hubby, 8 year old daughter and my 6 year old nephew to care for. It's hard with a family, so I just got out a calendar book and wrote down which and what days I will study. That's how I keep dedicated and focus is to have a plan. I brought the whole Saunders pyramid to success, the comp review, q&a, flash cards, strategies book. I use Saunders for content and I use incredibly made easy, and Kaplan to practice questions. I read my bible, pray, fast and worship the lord Jesus christ in church. I take my test on the 27th, I know we will pass, I will pray for you. Keep me posted, God bless!

YOU HAVE DONE YOUR BEST,, Pray and let God do the rest.

thank you, im hoping so

I take my test in 23 days, I'm not scared, I'm a little anxiety. I'm just going to stay confident, stay in faith and claim myself as a nurse right now. I already prayed, fasted and got people in prayer agreement with me. I'm still studying everyday, still practicing my questions and content everyday. A few days before the test I'm going to drive to the testing center, so I can know where I'm going, know how long it's going to take me to get there, and that will also help to alleviate any anxiety. The day before the test I will not study, I will relax. The night before I will iron my clothes and lay them out, I will put my ATT papers, driver licenses, and car keys out and together. The day of the test I will eat a light meal, some protein foods and maybe a banana and bottle of water. I will go in the testing center smiling because I know when I come out I will officially be a nurse. While I'm testing I will keep positive, I will say you're doing good, you got this. When the test is over I will treat myself to something special. I will not do the pvt, because I see how it can make people lose faith. So I will wait 48 hrs. Just keep faith and have everything planned out in your head. Keep checking on allnurses to see what other people say about their exam this month, keep practicing your questions, and we will pass. Blessings!

thank you! i am going to go by there also. im praying too

As for the infection control questions, things like what type of PPE you need to enter the rooms of patients who have various illnesses, what patient you can put with other patients based on their illnesses, etc.

Hey! I am taking NCLEX-RN tomorrow 1/20/2011 as well....a little nervous, as it is my second attempt. But I'm staying positive and trying to relax.
