Day 1 of waiting...check

Well today was the deadline for applications at my college of choice for my BSN. I wonder how long I will have to wait for an answer! I did get a surprise when the college called today about my application -- they received everything except one of my reference letters and called to tell me to have my professor fax it over. Wow! I wasn't sure they would even look at my file but I guess they did...or perhaps they are just very kind. :sniff:

I had to write 4 application essays and really worked hard to make them stand out. Please cross your fingers, toes and anything else your capable of for me!!

On to bed to get ready for day 2 of waiting......

Anyone know what the typical response time is? Start date is January 2012

From reading the posts on this site, it seems like the wait times vary tremendously. I have seem some of just over a month and some of several months. I applied to a program that starts January 2012 and they said we would find out in August. The deadline for it isn't until the 17th though, so maybe you'll hear sooner than that. i think your lucky that they called to tell you that you were missing something. The program I applied for would've just tossed your app if it were missing something. Just a way for them to weed people out. Good Luck!

I landed an interview for next Wednesday. Time to peruse the sight for interview help! I am so excited and so nervous.

My school's deadline was also the 31st of May. And I'm supposed to find out by the end of June. So less than a month! I hope it is good news. And IF I get in, I start this AUGUST for fast track. If not.. I'll have to wait for Spring '12. Here's to hoping.....
