Dates of Orientation for NHCC and IHCC programs?

So I'm awaiting responses from NHCC and IHCC on whether I've been accepted to their programs but I'm trying to make some vacation plans and I need to know some things and was wondering if anyone here knew.

I know classes start August 25th for both programs, but is there an orientation or any other meetings that students admitted to the program need to attend before Aug 25th? Thanks in advance!

So, I already have a bachelor's degree in biomedical science, but unfortunately my first year of college I didn't focus like I should have and didn't do very well in some of my classes. Which means, once they changed how the GPA is calculated for acceptance, my GPA tanked. So I'm coming in with a 3.0 - if I had known earlier which classes they'd be using, I would have repeated at least one of the classes. Thankfully, I did decently on my TEAS: 84.7%.

Since there are no stats regarding what a competitive score would be, I'm not sure my 11.47 will cut it. I wish my score was either lower to the point where I could be in the state of mind of "Well, it's a long shot, but I might as well apply just to see", or my score was higher so I could start seriously planning how to pay a mortgage while in school and working minimal hours.

I am in the EXACT same situation. I already have a bachelors in Psychology and I minored in Biology. I'm going in with a 3.0 GPA and a 81% on my TEAS. The test proctor told us that the average people have been getting on the TEAS was 60%-70% which is why I was happy with my score. Also, I've been hearing that anything over an 11 makes you a competitive candidate.

I think you all scored very well on the TEAS exam. I heard that a lot pf people at Inver only scored in the 60s-70s. I am not sure anout NHCC. Has anyone heard anything yet? I didn't get any mail for 3 days last week, not even a bill and I was going crazy!

Yeah the TEAS proctor at my testing said the average people have been getting is 60-70%

And NOPE! Not one thing. I've been checking the mail like crazy. But NHCC is on spring break this week so I'm assuming everything has been sent out and is on its way. I want to vomit when I think about getting my letter :/

A few of my friends got their letters last week that they didn't get in....

So it makes me feel a little more hopeful that I haven't received anything yet! I'm going in with a 3.47 GPA and 77.3 on the TEAS so 11.2 total. Sooooooo anxious!!! :nailbiting:

The girls that got their letters were going in with score in the 10's.
