I just started my first semester in the Darton Nursing program and was wandering if any former Darton students on this site.

so how are the math test each semester?

If you learn it correctly in fundamentals you will be fine! I listened, did about 30 problems a night in fundamentals and practiced my math before each test. I never had to drop because of a math test and I passed my pharmacology/math test for the facility I work at on the first try! It was 65 questions and I made a 95%, no studying! Those tests at darton prepared me!

I just took my TEAS this morning and I passed!!!!! Now, I am just waiting to hear from Darton in November on if I am accepted into the Spring 2015 semester or not. Anyone on here still needing to take the TEAS exam should make sure they know a good lil bit about DNA & RNA. The science part of my test seemed to be mostly about that.

What is the passing score for the Teas?

At Darton the minimum score to be considered for the program is 60%. However, every school is different.

The National Average for the ATI TEAS is 64%. After you take the test it gives a complete breakdown of your weakest and strongest areas. The science part was the only area I was below average, but it was only by 1%. My strongest area was the Math! I couldn't believe it! I scored 80% and that is well above the national average.

I made a 80 on math also...yeah! I also passed....struggled a little with science. Missed avg by 1 point as well. Keeping my fingers crossed for November!

Hi I applied at Darton for the Nursing Program 2015. I just took the TEAS last Friday and I passed. Have you taken your TEAS yet?

Hi Congrats on passing the Teas. I took the TEAS on Oct. 3rd as well and I passed. However my math section was below average and I'm wondering if Darton looks at the breakdown of your scores as well when making a decision?

I think they look at the overall score for the test.

I have applied for the Spring 2015 program also. Good luck on getting in! Congrats also on passing TEAS. It wasn't easy. I was there on Oct 3rd also.

I took the TEAS on the 3rd, too! We should have had a pow wow before the TEAS! lol
