Hi everyone - I am new here but am starting at DNI in the night program in August. I saw some old feedback, and was wondering if anyone has some recent feedback?
to lgtx3 ~~~~
my prereq came from dcccd(community college). most rn-bsn have their own courses that has to be taken. pell grants are available at dni also, if you qualify. to purplelvn~~~~come on...pick your feet up...this could be a process that we can get thru together!!! i am quite nervous & scared myself:d...but i am trusting in god:up:....
to saygizz~~~~the net test is for the lvn program(the day class in february).......you could possible qualify for the rn program, because generic students are being accepted as well as lvn....come on ladies....keep going...we all can do it....!!!:flwrhrts::stdnrsrck:
@texasg67~ The ADN Program is consisted of 5 semester. The Generic Students(Non-LVN )are 5 semester. The LVN Students are 3 semester. You can see their website for more information see www.dni.edu . :stdnrsrck:
Hi purplelvn! Im taking my hesi a2 entrance exam to get into the lvn program. can you tell me if the test was really hard? how was the a&p section? math? difficult vocabulary? did you study a certain review that you would recommend? thank you! im enrolling in next month
Hi Sheena! The Hesi A2 is not as hard as I thought it would be, and others have made it sound!! My test consisted of basic math (adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing)fractions, some algebra, etc. Vocabulary-word definitions. Reading portion was long but take your time. A&P was easy. The A&P that I took during nursing school was enough to help me pass. I was only concerned with taking Math b/c I HATE MATH!!! LOL
I didn't really study any particular guide, just reviewed my A&P books. I printed math problems of the internet and practiced at work everyday. I took my Hesi Nov. 20th after scheduling two weeks prior. They give you 4-5 hours to take the entire test at your own pace. Don'y worry. You'll do great!!!

Sorry to hear about you having to take extra classes. If you are an lvn you can work for baylor or jps, and go through there a p program through uta, you will still have to take some prereqs. but you will have ur bsn instead of your rns. Also the classes are all online,(6 to 8 weeks) and your clinicals will be at the hospital you work at.
