Anyone else getting emails from recruiters desperately seeking ER/ICU RNs in Dallas?
The funny thing is I was trying to get to a Dallas hospital for about a month and had SUCH a difficult time getting any managers on the phone. I ended up accepting an assignment in AZ.
Too bad- their loss!
Thanks for that. I googled it and found some media reports about dialysis and that patient's liver function. Also about dialysis for some patients with advanced Ebola and electrolytes. I couldn't find a real medical reference. That sounds like a real mess for sure and certainly not practical for treating thousands of acute patients in Africa.
By by the way, reports of crisis staffing in Dallas are pure rumors apparently started on Facebook. None exist, just normal to below normal volumes of postings for travelers at normal rates.

I received the email from my old travel agency, the largest travel dialysis company, not Facebook!

Perhaps the recruiters are stretching the truth, but PHP is stating that Dallas hospitals are specifically requesting ER and ICU nurses "in response to the Ebola situation." The second email I received had 35 positions for ER only.
