Cypress College Fall 2018

Hi! I didn't find a topic yet for Cypress Fall 2018 applicants, so I thought I'd start one!

I just received an email yesterday that I was accepted as an alternate for Fall (I was rejected for Spring 2018) and wanted to know if there were any other alternates, or those who were accepted?

Also, does anyone know if they have any specific order for alternates? The suspense is torturing lol

I am applying to cypress in September. I just passed the teas and I have about 42 points on the multicriteria sheet. Do you think that’s good enough?

Well I’m not sure how you counted your points. But it only goes up to 30 for Cypress.

Unfortunately, to be competitive you would have to be 28pts or higher. They might place you on the chronological order list. And they will recycle your application to place you on a first come first serve basis. I don’t remember how many they pull from the chronological order list per semester it might be 10pl but you should speak to a counselor or go to their information sessions to have more accurate information.
