Cypress College Fall 2018

Hi! I didn't find a topic yet for Cypress Fall 2018 applicants, so I thought I'd start one!

I just received an email yesterday that I was accepted as an alternate for Fall (I was rejected for Spring 2018) and wanted to know if there were any other alternates, or those who were accepted?

Also, does anyone know if they have any specific order for alternates? The suspense is torturing lol

Did you already apply last year? I think you just have to update your app with new transcripts and online if you have completed more classes. The only required courses are the 3 sciences and English. The others are not required but highly recommended to increase your chance of being accepted.

I have a question, when do we register for class? Or when do we pay?

Have you registered for cypress ?? You can check your mygateway for your registration appointment.. since I did not get in for the spring, I had to reapply for admission so I won't get an appointment time till the first week of July.

For now you should definitely get ahead and start the health clearance.. and drug screening on castlebranch. And start buying books too! They are a bit pricy so I'm buying them little by little lol

Yeah I just did my background and drug test, cpr and doctor appointments are this week as well.

Yes I had applied some time ago so I need to double check on that then. Thank you!

I believe I got 26 points and I got accepted form the alternate list.

Has anyone started their reading? On the class schedule it says to start reading from the Taylor bool. It says from the reading and video assignment list. Did anyone receive that?

No I did not receive that.. was it sent through email or ??? My registration isn't till the 20th so I can't access canvas yet for assignments :/

All I have read is chapter one of fundamentals textbook and chapter one of the pharmacology textbook.
