For those who have started the training process. Could you share what your schedule looks like for the first 13 weeks? I start late October and have only received the schedule for the first week. TIA.

That's awesome congrats! I had an interview yesterday and was curious how soon did you hear back after your interview? I was told that If I got in it would be to start in October also.

Unfortunately, to be competitive you would have to be 28pts or higher. They might place you on the chronological order list. And they will recycle your application to place you on a first come first serve basis. I don’t remember how many they pull from the chronological order list per semester it might be 10pl but you should speak to a counselor or go to their information sessions to have more accurate information. Well I’m not sure how you counted your points. But it only goes up to 30 for Cypress.

Okay I was able to cancel my order and I purchased the right one. I payed $112 which was what our packet said. I bought most off my books off amazon. Did you buy the ebooks for lippincott courspoint+fundamentals of nursing, Lynn coursepoint for Taylors clinical nursing skills and docucare? its super expensive geezz. lol came out to 485.23 (there goes my christmas bonus lol)

I think I might have gotten the wrong one. Darn I just saw the one that says new student is up. That tab wasn't up when I bought it. And I waited till after Friday to buy it bc we were told it wouldn't be up. Oh well I have to contact castle branch and see if they can change the packet I bought.

did any of you accepted students buy Castle branch yet? Im trying to figure out where to upload my CPR card. but I don't have a tab for clinical requirements. just of backgound test and drug test. do you guys know why?

Yes I applied last September and got in but had to give away my spot, and deferred to spring of 2019. This period might have been a very competitive one I see, I knew others that weren't accepted right away attended the orientation. So it's for alternates. But again, If you all had 30 pts I'm sure you'll get in for fall!

So, from what I know. You're application gets automatically recycled for the fall semester without you having to apply again. Bc at cypress there is only one application period per year. But if you don't get the email in April for fall 2019. Then you would have to re apply in September. If you're waitlisted there is still a chance for you to get in Bc many students apply to multiply programs at the same time. So if they don't show up to the orientation or don't accept their spot then They will pull from the waitlist. I saw people getting in just days before the semester started. I believe you can still attend the orientation and get all the information. Am I right? Does it tell you when the orientation is? My email says it's December 12th.

Even if you don't get an email don't loose hope you might still be in for Fall! As far as what I have heard from friends the program is good. It's hard but good. At the orientation I attended Director, Mrs. Fishman has retired so I'm not sure who the new director is. Very Sad because I met her and she is super nice and helpful! So I'm hoping the new Director also will be!

Yes I believe so. It could just mean that there were a lot of high ranking applicants. And not enough spots for that semester.

When I was accepted for fall semester last year I got the email in April. So only people accepted for spring will get acceptance emails.
