Cypress College ADN Spring 2022

Hello I made this forum because I did not see one for Cypress ADN program for Spring 2022. Just in case anyone has questions or answers to help out any future nurses. I have already applied for Cypress so now it is just the waiting game for me. I did also add a forum for El Camino College and LA City College just in case you need any help with those applications.

Thank you! I was not an alternate, I was accepted as part of the initial group back on Oct 19. I should have clarified as in I was just accepted for this cycle, not as in this week. Sorry if I caused misunderstanding. Last I heard was #7. I'll reach out to others and see if I can find out if a lower number got in. If they did, I'll post on the GWC site.

I applied to three other colleges with maxed out points besides work experience. I cant just go get a job in the medical field?! I totally wish I had that luxury.
Anyways, I got listed as an alternate for one school and rejected from the other two. 
Still nothing from Cypress

Have you considered getting a med cert? It doesn't to much here if you are maxed out for Section III - Additional Criteria at Cypress, but both Saddleback and Golden West offer additional points for just the Med Cert alone.

Santa Ana might under "Other Relevant Work" but I'm not sure.

I just got an email stating I am an alternate for Cypress at 6pm. Check your emails guys.

I got it sent to my personal email. Thanks for all the congratulatory words BUT I was fully accepted into Los Angeles County College of Nursing and Allied Health. So I will be declining my alternate position. Hopefully it goes to one of you, and I hope you all get accepted! Good Luck guys!

Specializes in Nursing (Hopefully).

I didn’t get anything either. It feels like they’re still sending it around as my status still says “in evaluation process”
