Cypress College ADN Spring 2022

Hello I made this forum because I did not see one for Cypress ADN program for Spring 2022. Just in case anyone has questions or answers to help out any future nurses. I have already applied for Cypress so now it is just the waiting game for me. I did also add a forum for El Camino College and LA City College just in case you need any help with those applications.

I am trying the Career Mobility track and registered to take Exam 1 10/27, I am wondering if you received an email regarding how to apply for a login to take the test, through the initial email said we will receive an email to set up an account before the test day. I haven't received anything yet.

Oh Yay! I'm not the only 1. I'm taking it on the 28th, and I was told by the secretary I needed to come to the school to take it. She even mentioned to wait in the lobby until they come get me. Are you positive you're taking it remotely? That would be better for me anyway, as I live far from the school. But ill be there Thursday. Can I also ask, are you using anything to study?

This is what I got just now from HSD Cypress college

I just received an email from school, they sent me a link and ask me to login to change my password for tomorrow's exam. I did not purchase the prep website from Cypress introduced. I am using the Point Prep U system I already purchased from another class. Since I graduated from LVN quite a long time ago, I don't quite remember the NCLEX style tests. I will see how am I doing tomorrow.

Im not sure. I haven't received anything for an online exam. I hope I do though, I don't feel like going to school. Please let me know how it turns out. Im just gonna wing it. I feel like I can pass it. No point in cramming now. I just got my approval for the program Monday and my test is Thursday.

Did you take the test? How did it go? What time did it start?

I just got home, the test started a little bit after 9 am as the technician issues. I messed up my exam, 200 questions over 4 hours, I forgot everything, I was too tough for me, too many detailed questions, like how to use walker, how to recussitate, how to apply ear drops, etc. MY, I gave up Cypress.

Oh wow. Were the results instant? Sounds like taking the state board all over again. Oh well, I'll know tomorrow I suppose. Thanks for the info.

I did not check the score right away,I saw the score when I got home. Good luck for your exam tomorrow,have a good breakfast to have the energy for four hours straight.
