Cypress College ADN Spring 2022

Published

Hello I made this forum because I did not see one for Cypress ADN program for Spring 2022. Just in case anyone has questions or answers to help out any future nurses. I have already applied for Cypress so now it is just the waiting game for me. I did also add a forum for El Camino College and LA City College just in case you need any help with those applications.

As of today my application Status says: in evaluation process.

Hello future nurses,

May I ask if the school considers the first TEAS attempt or the most current attempt within 2 years?

Thank you!

I honestly don't know. That said, Cypress doesn't give ponts for the TEAS so much as require you pass the TEAS with a 62% or higher. You can check via the workshop handouts page or the one I attached here.

I would strongly recommend you meet with a Health Science/nursing counselor (you can do it online via Cranium cafe) or send an email to either the Nursing department or a nursing counselor.

Thanks so much for replying!

I just emailed the Nursing Department a few days ago. Hopefully, I'll get the answer from them ^^.

Can I have one more question? So I just missed the health science application this month September. Does that mean that I cannot apply for fall 2022 and have to wait until next year in September to apply right?

Thanks!

Based on my understanding from the most recent information session, the application period is only at the beginning of Sept for both Spring 22 and Fall 22 so yes, you would have to apply next Sept!

IahNursingStudent24 pretty much covered it. If you are looking to apply for Fall 2022 programs, there is Saddleback and Santa Ana in February, and Golden West in April (tentatively). There is also the CSUs (Long Beach and Fullerton) which you can apply in October/next week. That is the extent of my knowledge since I'm applying only in the Orange County area. I have no idea for the application windows for Long Beach City, Rio Hondo, or Cerritos, but they might be worth checking if you are closer to them.

Everything that @Kenji12345 said is all correct info. For Rio Hondo, I believe they have a February application open in order to start during the Summer. Cerritos won't have applications open until Jan 2022. With that being said though, Cerritos does have a Special Admissions Opportunity for Spring 2022. However, I believe they used the applicants that kept their application with them from March 2020. Cerritos has invited me to their orientation for this upcoming Monday, Oct 4.

Thanks for the info @rowlab! Good luck at orientation!

Hello everyone,

Has anyone here to prepare for the LVN-ADN exam? I received an email last Friday asked me to take the exam at the end of October, it also recommend to buy one exam prep, I am wondering if that prep is the same one who makes the exam?

How do you check this? Also, does anyone know when the acceptance letters are out?

You can check by logging into the health science application as if you were applying & we should know at the beginning of December
