Cypress College ADN Spring 2022

Hello I made this forum because I did not see one for Cypress ADN program for Spring 2022. Just in case anyone has questions or answers to help out any future nurses. I have already applied for Cypress so now it is just the waiting game for me. I did also add a forum for El Camino College and LA City College just in case you need any help with those applications.

I believe that when I checked the other day, for me, it said completed. You might want to contact A/R on Monday to see if they did receive your documents. If I’m not mistaken official transcripts are due by Oct 1 by 5PM

Yeah I was afraid of that, I will be reaching out to A/R tomorrow. Thanks for the quick reply @rowlab!

My health science application also said "completed" if anyone was wondering.

I appreciate the update, thanks IahNursingStudent24. 1 is an outlier, 2 is a pattern and a need for me to reach out to Cypress ASAP.

BTW, IahNursingStudent24, tentative registration date for GWC Fall 2022 will be April, and Spring 2022 will be July.

I hope neither of us need to know this and get accepted for Spring 2022.

Just finished talking to both A/R and Health Science counselor, apparently I'm good. Admissions and Records have all my transcripts and the HS counselor said "You checked too soon! You need to wait! We are still processing applications! No one has a complete stays yet!" I was like " OK, sorry. I was worried that the 'Incomplete Documents' meant I had something else to do." According to the counselor, no I don't. After signing off Cranium I got a follow up email from HS

"Please allow several weeks for applications to be processed and verified."

I want to say OK, but that felt a bit of a hostile encounter rather than, you know counseling? The A/R counselor was like worlds different and super kind and helpful.

Sorry to hear that your encounter wasn’t a good one. You shouldn’t be sorry for checking up on your application, I would be worried if I were you too! Was the counselor D__?

Interestingly, I thought it was - she looked and sounded like her - but her name on Cranium Cafe was different today. Her name started with Tie__

Hey everyone!
I'm a little confused here as I am seeing everyone talking about emailing additional documents, including a signature page, after filling out the application. 
I did not send any supplemental paperwork after filling out the application, as everything I need to hand in was able to be done through the health sciences portal. 
Am I missing something here? Where is the signature page?
Additionally,  when I check my application status, I'm not seeing and checked boxes as you guys say you are..? It just says "evaluation in process"

Very worried :(

I only did the signature page awhen I applied in Sept 2020. Now, the Health Science has gone all digital and even changed the format of application portal. So I think you are good, because your experience was very similar to mine this time around. My issue is that I was worried some of my official transcripts were not yet processed by Cypress despite ordering them before the application started this month. It was

"Application Status: Incomplete - documents due"

to as of this morning:

"Application Status: 202120-RN : In Evaluation Process"

Sorry if I caused undue worry.

I don’t know what the signature page everyone is referring to is either since I was able to submit all my documents. My application also says evaluation in progress as of right now so I think admins are going over applications

Last year was a very crude application portal and process, the page looked like it hadn't been updated since 2008. Back then you had to print out, sign, scan it back, and upload a signature page. That did not occur this time around and thw application portal looks more up to date. I think you are fine.
