Does anyone have any information on this program, particularly if you're applying as a transfer student? I've heard good things by word of mouth but very little actual detail regarding the program. I am very curious as well, if any of you know someone who has gotten in before, as to what their average GPA is for admittance as I'd imagine it would be substantial? I'm also wondering how common it is to get considerable amounts of financial aid/scholarship money (non-loans)?
Thank you!

I just know Case is one of the best universities in the country and given it's reputation I'm sure you will need an excellent academic record to even be considered. As for financial aid private schools are usually a little more generous.

Having attended FPB at CWRU and two other state schools in Ohio I can assure you that Case will be much more expensive for no difference in the education experience. The best thing they have going for them is the relationship with Cleveland Clinic where the best practices are employed. A little friendly advice- While at FPB, I did clinicals alongside students from CCC, Cleveland State and Kent. They all did fine and I'm sure they don't have the student loan debt I have thanks to going to a private school. Besides after your first job, nobody cares where you went to school but how good your references are from your last job.
School ranking are sort of a joke, they are based more on publications, not classroom performance. There are good and bad teachers everywhere, FPB is no exception to this rule. I must admit I had high expectation when I enrolled at CWRU and was sadly disappointed when the experience was the same as lesser ranked schools where the cost was more than half of Case. I have gain a new respect for the faculty at my "lesser ranked" schools. Of course one item is free at Case- arrogance!
Think carefully about your choice and good luck.
Thank you for the information. For me, the desire to apply there didn't really have much to do with ranking but more to do with their reputation for considerable involvement in international healthcare endeavors and service learning as that is where a lot of my motivation and interests lie. The fact that they have 1600 hours of clinicals and perioperative experience were additional pluses. I have absolutely nothing against the "lesser-ranked" schools (and I don't use that term seriously but mean it in the same way you do) but simply thought CWRU might be a better environment to foster my long-term goals. However, if the impression they are giving is overstated then I see no reason to exert the time, effort, and money applying there rather than more reasonably priced schools especially as I am unable to partake in interest-based loans (religious reasons) so it would take considerable work on my part to get all the funds together for that tuition even with the half-tuition scholarship they say everyone entering receives.

I attended Case for my BSN. I am happy with my experience there, although I have no other school to compare it to. I was hired by a manager at Cleveland Clinic after doing my final preceptorship there on that floor. I had a friend who graduated from Kent and took months to find a job. Education aside, I believe I would not have had the opportunities that I did nor received the initial job that I did without Case.
