curry college accel BSN program January 2017

Published

Hi all,

Just thought to start this thread. Has anyone applied to Curry for Accel BSN January 2017 yet? I have and I am really looking forward to being accepted. I am currently working as an LPN and I have a bachelors in geological sciences. I definitely want to move up my career path and explore more opportunities. Curry is about 20 minutes away from me and is really convenient and I've heard great reviews about the program.

If you attended or are attending, please give a few pointers or ideas, it will be appreciated and if you are applying or have applied just like me then looking forward to seeing you in January 2017

Happy Nursing

:)

that was what so disturbing and hurtful because I really wanted to go to curry. but to hear one reason why I wasn't accepted because I wasn't a PCA when in fact I work with nurses and physicians hurts. if only they accepted the letter of recommendation they would have realized this. let allow read my resume. but pls don't exclude you. as I wrote each applicant is different. but curry from finding is a program that is designed to accept associate nursing degrees . if I would have known I would have applied to Simmons. but pls you might as well get in you never know. this time around wasn't for me. at least i know a friend of mine who got in so im happy for her and i know you will get in and when you do pls shine for all those who were not accepted.

No letter today. Just checked the mail.

you'll get it tuesday :) you got this :)

Thanks for the positive thoughts!!! The next 2 days are going to be brutal with having to wait. Hopefully it comes Tuesday! Enjoy your weekend!!

you also keep me posted. of course, positivity is always needed :).

I didn't get mail today either. So Tuesday I'll let you guys know!! Have a great weekend!

Yeah I'm still waiting for mine. I'm so nervous right now. Compared to you guys, my gpa is much lower. All the nurses in my unit said I would get it because I'm a guy. But, still I don't think genders would make any difference..

It's probably in your favor that you're a guy because I'm sure they want a diverse cohort. Hopefully letters will come on Tuesday. It sucks we couldn't know before the long weekend.

Hopefully we all get in! Did you apply to mgh?

Yes I did. Did you?

I did too! I heard it's easier to get in since they accept more students.

Yes they accept usually around 100-120 I believe. We won't find out until September though. The waiting is the worst part!!
