i am not sure why the person you corresponded with told you that he'll solely be making the decision on your application but i think going to the college won't be a bad idea. Hopefully you'll be able to speak to someone who would put your mind at rest. Keep us posted on how the visit goes.. all the best:)

Hi BlessedM, i took my application by hand to the college and handed it to one of he advisors. We looked over it together and he told me to expect a mail from the school in the next weeks confirming that they have received my application and will review it collectively with other applications and send out a reply by July 1st. I don't think one person can seat and decide if you should be accepted or not. I think it is a collective decision made by the committee. Looks like they would start reviewing admissions by next month and send out letters by July 1st...hopefully we'll both receive acceptance letters...keep trusting God...í ½í¸€

Hi all, Just thought to start this thread. Has anyone applied to Curry for Accel BSN January 2017 yet? I have and I am really looking forward to being accepted. I am currently working as an LPN and I have a bachelors in geological sciences. I definitely want to move up my career path and explore more opportunities. Curry is about 20 minutes away from me and is really convenient and I've heard great reviews about the program. If you attended or are attending, please give a few pointers or ideas, it will be appreciated and if you are applying or have applied just like me then looking forward to seeing you in January 2017 Happy Nursing :)
