curry college accel BSN program January 2017

Published

Hi all,

Just thought to start this thread. Has anyone applied to Curry for Accel BSN January 2017 yet? I have and I am really looking forward to being accepted. I am currently working as an LPN and I have a bachelors in geological sciences. I definitely want to move up my career path and explore more opportunities. Curry is about 20 minutes away from me and is really convenient and I've heard great reviews about the program.

If you attended or are attending, please give a few pointers or ideas, it will be appreciated and if you are applying or have applied just like me then looking forward to seeing you in January 2017

Happy Nursing

What do you do for work SolHeart? And we're you only a couple of sentences over the 1 page or a paragraph or more? That shouldn't have been a big deal. Luckily, I'm a PCA and I did mention that in my resume so I hope they looked at that! Oh jeez!

Sabs1028, how strong was your personal statement? And how did you do in your prerequisites? I think people who were rejected might've recieved their letters first. Idk but it's driving me crazyyyy! I do love about an hour away. How far do you live from Curry Sab1028?

I'm a counselor. You'll be fine. :). 2.5 page over.

I live on the cape so I'm about an hour away too. I think my personal statement was strong but it all depends on who reads it you know? I work as an activities director in an assisted living facility. All my work experience has been in geriatrics. I did well in my pre-reqs but still have micro to take this fall which may hurt me since I still have one class outstanding.

Those who read them were the staffs believe or not. So don't stress. One of you guys have to get in. And you'll be getting yours by tomorrow the latest. Those who lives close as myself got the letter sooner. There's no who got declined got it first I asked. And the guy whom I spoke to was honest in answering my questions.

Oh alright! Thanks so much!

I also had 1 outstanding prerequisite, that I JUST completed last week. So that shouldn't be a big deal. Did anyone use portage learning to complete their prerequisites?

Your welcome. That's as much as I know. Lol im considering applying out of state as well to MGH. I'll get in somewhere. ;)

SolHeart! You WILL get in somewhere and if you need any help with anything, I'm here! Don't be afraid to ask or for me to look over your personal statement or resume! Do not give up!

CCsuzy, how far do you live from Curry?

Thank you. I truly appricate that I will definitely message you. I hope you still on here so I can reach out to you.

Yes love! I'll be here!

I didn't use portage. I did my pre-reqs at the community college.

I'm considering applying out of state as well if I don't get in to curry or MGH. I'm hoping it doesn't come to that!
